High Health Hazard. Dimethicone is a type of Silicone, and can be irritating to the skin and slow to biodegrade.

Silicones are commonly found in both personal care and household cleaning products. They are multi-functional ingredients, for example, they can act as emollients in shampoos and de-foamers in dish tablets/powders & laundry detergents. Silicones are slow to degrade in the environment and may accumulate over time. Some studies have also found that silicones can be irritating to skin. REFERENCE: (1.
